UWLES Advisory Council Roles:

Support UWLES professionally and personally as able through advocacy, giving, and volunteering.

Share insights, concerns, suggestions, feedback, and collaborative opportunities with UWLES board and staff in support of community needs, as aligned with UWLES’ mission (to strengthen health, education, and financial stability for all neighbors).

Help promote and support UWLES’ mission through community events and social media outreach as able.

Explore and introduce opportunities to build new relationships, supporters, partnerships, and collaborations.

Attend two or more council meetings per year (2-4 per year will be offered at the council’s discretion).

Participate in UWLES committees or workgroups of personal or professional interest if able (ie, development, special events, personnel, finance/compliance, strategic planning, equity/DEI, marketing, etc.)
